Since bursting onto the scene in 2017, Shae Universe has made waves in the UK, the US, West Africa, Asia and beyond making music that captivates, heals and inspires. Her mother a gospel singer and her father a pastor, Shae weaves her faith & real life experiences into her artistry. Shae can both sing & rap and has been celebrated by the likes of Lalah Hathaway, Durand Bernarr, Jon B, Teedra Moses, Little Simz plus many more. She’s remained entirely independent – navigating the industry on her own terms and has garnered recognition from British Vogue, NME, Rolling Stone, BET, Billboard,Essence, Complex, Wonderland, NOTION and more. Following on from Shae’s classic R&B project Love’s Letter, released February 2024, she went on to headline her first European tour, release her very own Tiny Desk and was also nominated for a MOBO Award alongside having her debut TV performance at the ceremony in February, 2025. Shae most recently toured with Durand Bernarr on his ‘You Gon’ Grow Too’ Tour and is currently touring the US with R&B mogul Jon B. She also recently featured on the lead single of Idris & Sabrina Elba’s joint album ‘No Lip Service’ which came out May, 2025. Shae is currently working on some new exciting projects and will be rolling out soon.
